Modern calligraphy knows no rules. Breaks with them and puts on freedom and independence providing greater artistic expression. Letters may vary in size or could not be sitting in one line. You can experiment with entry and exit strokes to begin and end your word in a more expressive way. A writing tool may be a nib, which by appropriate pressure allows you to achieve the effect of contrast between the written letters.
In my work I use traditional flexible nib and inks or pigments. Calligraphy can be used not only for wedding stationery but also decorations or table accessories.
– addressed and hand-decorated envelopes
– calligraphic wedding invitations (partly or fully)
– fully hand-made accessories, e.g. seating cards, table numbers.
